The Geyer wrap places the change valve on the side of the valve cluster farthest from the player, causing less severe bends in the tubing of the F side of the horn. This results in less resistance and helps to match the tone qualities of the F and Bb sides of the horn. Additional features include a detachable 11.9 bell, lacquered brass body, rose brass leadpipe, 4 mechanical-link tapered rotary valves, a .472 bore, and a wood-frame case.
